Addicks is the newest addion to The Greedy Bastards campain. Addicks was once a young wizard looking for fun and adventure, but finding nothing but trouble. He grew up in Atma, graduated primary school and was sent off to the mages college to become a sage. He took a liking to conjuration, seeing that the calling of beings and energy from distances untold, had much to offer. Upon graduation, Addicks left Atma and was not seen for many dozens of years. Only after the entirety of his family was many years dead did he once again show his face.
Noone is quite sure the reason for Addicks retreat from his family and all he then knew, that is a secret that he keeps to himself. It is known however, that he came back with quite the sum of money, possibly plundered from dungeons unknown. Addicks set up a small but well equipt magic shop, providing all manor of potions, salves, oils, and even exotic animals to the citizens of Atma.
Alas, with age grows restlessness. Addicks felt the urge once more to wander the land and experience the excitement he knew as youth once more. Upon hearing rumors of some local "swords for hire" he took a chance and joined up. Their party was recently shorted by two, and needing arcane magic very badly, they accepted him in rather businesslike fashion.
Addicks now provides much of the might of the party not only with his variety of summoning of beasts, but the creation of all sorts of magical energy to lay waste to those who stand in his way. Though not always prepared with the utility of some spell casters, Addicks provides much needed firepower to his fellow adventurers, and with the gift of a Staff of Evocation, and Ring of the Magi, from his friends, he grows more powerful by the day.
Though no matter how well he gets along with those around him, Addicks always feels out of place. Weak of strength, but strong of will, Addicks is comforted by his familiar Scampers the rat, and continues on into the future unknown. |
