| Mountain oasis and shrine to a fallen goddess |
Aradt is a hidden shrine to the fallen goddess Lahantwene and is her resting place. It is at the top of the mountain that the Tree of Life, the sleeping goddess, is tended to by Amael the Watcher. From the cliff face where she sleeps the vastness of the terrible Kharse desert can be seen, the last remnants of the destruction visited upon Geas by the grief-maddened goddess before her imprisonment.
The mountain is almost hollow; a series of huge caves permeate its interior. The largest of these is Afqah, the mist shrouded grotto where the great waterfall of Aradt finds its end. |
