It is strange livning among the elves, especially right after the war. The Holy Fathers were none to pleased but what could I do? Aesia did ask and she has not ever led me astray, (I would think that she'd have better things to do), so off to Tel-Tanaural I went and presented myself to Queen Suzara . Well not Queen yet but I'll get to that in a moment. I was put under the charge of Lord High Councelor Islan a mage of vast knowledge and set about doing priestly as well as mundane duties. The elves eventually, I won't say accept, got used to me being around I think anyway, they at least came to the understanding that Aesia, bless her name, has some purpose in store for me. How they get anything done ever I will never know or understand. I even asked the Goddess if my lesson to be learned here was that of patience. It is so frustrating at times, and then add the elven council in to boot? I suppose when you have centuries to live its easiest to watch and wait rather than take an action (any action, please, no really please Goddess) that will have an effect. Sigh.
During all this time I learned alot, about the elves, myself, and Lord Islans exploits with his companians of the Crystal Tear. Now and then I even met a few when they popped in, Miss Arilyn most frequently, but I feel like I know them all from Lord Islan's tales. This week something strange happened though, the high council was to meet and on that very day all the companions teleported in, even Jacques a most reclusive holy brother came. Lord Islan left it to me to see to the council members during their long talks of as far as I could tell nothing so he could attend to his friends and their strange tale and seemingly communal dream. Bright Lady, what does it mean? That very night each of us was attacked by undead specteral creatures, they where vanquished and I found myself among these companians. Aesia, bless her healing touch, granted me the power to remove any lingering effects and Suzara ordered me to accompany Lord Islan and friends to the desert wastes where we can maybe discover the how and why. I hope I fit in.
By the blessings of Aesia.
