A Half-Orc, A True Friend
Learning things I should have always known
Over the past two weeks or so I have come to learn a great deal. About my surroundings yes, but more valuable still is what I have learned of my companions. Specifically Rothgar. appearing as an Atypical Half-Orc, he is still an orc nonetheless, and I had many worries concerning him as we started off on this journey. Though over the time I have come to know him as a brave, and fearless Patriot of Aesia He runs headlong into battle and is clearly blessed with prowess on the field of war. However it is his mannerisms outside of battle that I find more intriguing. He keeps to himself, is quiet, and well mannered most of the time, and clearly shows great respect to those in authority. At least when they are not being impersonated, but thats another story. He also shows great respect to me and all those with whom we travel. And all this from A Half Orc. He still has a smell of that dirty and despicable race, but he is a shining example otherwise, of how any of the thinking races can be whatever they want. I had until meeting Rothgar considered all Orc-kin to be one races that pervert Natures balance and should be killed outright. Now I have come to realize that any creature with the brain power to don armor can choose to fight for good rather than evil. That they too can fit into the balance of the world. While I consider myself to be far better off for this knowledge woe to those who have not chosen the good path, for now I realize that they chose to pervert nature, and that is unforgivable and calls for no mercy. May my claws remain Sharp, and deadly that I can tear the heads from those who would willingly choose to pervert that Beautiful, and wonderful world out there.
