| The list of those I trust is growing short |
Friend, someone you can trust...someone you can count on when times get tough...someone you can follow when you are unsure of yourself. Maybe my youth is beginning to give way to my adulthood, maybe Im not quite as blind as I was when I left the gnomish homeland. With the death of Kambei as with the death of Jas I am once again given over to reflecting on life and death and those who I place my trust in.
I feel very uneasy tonight after discovering the dark orb to still be in our midst. Tenedos has taken what was not his before; a coin purse from a drunk. If he could not be trusted with something so small, how can he be trusted with such heavy matters as we face now?
Hunter has always seemed trustworthy to me, I know he would never steal from us, but I would not rely on his judgment going into battle, such matters take planning, something Hunter doesnt seem to have the patients for.
Derrinar is kind and generous he is wise in the matters of the natural world beneath the mountain; I trust his guidance in this dark place while I adjust to my new surroundings.
Rorrin has always seemed reliable to me, but it worries me that he befriends Tenedos so closely and seemingly supports his deceitful ways.
Surely I would be in a constant state of terror if it were not for Groehl. I have started to rely on his judgment in these dark days. Unselfish, sacrificing and steadfast in his commitment to do what is right. Why Rorrin has such disregard for his brother at times confuses me. I have never thought ill of Groehl which concerns me of Rorrins intentions for the future. |
