Barbarian Rogue from the Human Lands of Wooden Hills

Gage grew up in a large city where his parents worked as merchants and store owners. One of their finer establishments the Rusty Pail was well known in the big city and even attracted local celebrities and politicians. His family life consisted of strict training in school and later in the art of fighting. His trainer Kazek was a half-elf rogue who used his skills to train others and also to keep order within the city in ways that were unknown to most.

Gage grew intrigued both by Kazek’s style and his relic of a sword that he owned. Once Gage had earned Kazek’s respect he allowed his young pupil to hold the mighty weapon in his hands. It was at this moment where rebel mercenaries entered his store looking for revenge. They had entered a bar the night before and lost their money to Kazek in a bet. Kazek while being a master of his trade knew that he was well outnumbered and quickly ripped his sword out of Gage’s hands leaving two gashes. Blinded by the pain Gage looked more at his hands instead of his master who was meeting his end by the result of these men called the Bullock’s.

This moment in Gage’s life pushed him to run away from home and start living on the streets looking for anyone to help him gain skill in the blade to be able to avenge his fallen master. After a couple years of searching he found his way into meeting the Bullock mercenaries. He even infiltrated their ranks and trained in their Barbarian ways to the point of becoming one of their elite fighters.

Eventually, he gained their trust and worked his way into training under the master who was the exact man who lead the original attack on his master Kazek. During the third session Gage began to realize that his inner rage had another level that not even his new master had not begun to delve into. It was during this time of self discovery that he went into a Berzerk and began slaughtering everyone in his sight beginning with the Bullock leader. Taking the sword in hand he continued killing everyone in sight including younger members and one of their mothers.

Gage soon awoke from his rage exhausted and horrified by his actions leading his to flea the big town he grew up in search of forgetting his past through simple drinking himself into forgetting.
