Giant deity of war, strength, and survival against all odds.
One of the favorite stories of Hjodhor depicts him as a young man being exiled from his tribe into the wilderness. There, for many years, he learns strength and self reliance in the face of many obstacles. Finally, with the guidance of several omens, he returns to his tribe, kills the chief, and claims rulership.
At worst, Hjodhor is stubborn and bloodthirsty. At best, he is strong and willful. |
