The Dark Woman
Tonight I met an interesting stranger who appears to be even stranger than me, and quite a bit more dangerous than anyone else in this town. she didn't give me her name, and thus i never gave her mine, but she does seem to have some interesting friends as well. If half of what she has said is true it could be just the thing I've been looking for.

As soon as she came in I noticed her. Her stature, her figure, and how she moved about the room gave her away as something special. Most women don't move that way. also she has very pale skin, and strikingly green eyes. She seemed to be making her way around the tavern gathering information from drunk soldiers. Not Usually a good thing for someone to be doing, but I had a feeling. On one level i was hoping against hope that she would pass me by, but then again perhaps I really wanted her to talk to me. Its been so long since I've had a good conversation. Perhaps thats why she was able to catch me staring at her, and so she came to my table, and sat down.

She inquired about me, and my ocupation, and what i might be doing in a city like this. She told me she might be able to get out of the city, and this peaked my interest. she told me of a group of travelers, and one in particular who had also tried to enter the city with quite a bit of problems. She howvere didn;t seem suprised or disturbed to be associated with a man who was apparently able to cut down several town guards in a very vicious manner. Though i never met the man I did see the remnants of his handiwork, and agreed to meet her in the morning. I'm not sure if this is such a good idea. Did I mention that her skin is pail she has striking green eyes, and green NAILS, and also there is something wrong with the tips of her fingers aside from the nails. I can't say what it is, but something. I think she may be a vampire of a sort or something like it. But i also feel as if I should trust her.

Perhaps I shall die tomorrow. Perhaps not.
