The rogues were dispatched with great zeal by Gailin and the large warrior Aeric. Veridean (our resident rogue) managed to dispatch their leader from within a cloud of magical darkness. I know not of it's origin, but I think she may have dark magic within her.
With the would-be thieves laid to rest, I did what healing I could for the party, gave the thieves last rights and we continued on our way, setting up camp not far down the road.
Every life eventually ends. Even though these men had not chosen a path Jerick would have approved of, they still did not deserve unrested souls. |
