Today marks my fifth year of living here with Elder Hiram, he says I am learning well, and tells me that I will be a great man someday. I am happy he is so proud of me. He tells me that keeping a journal will help me know myself and keep in touch with my thoughts, and spirit. All of these things are good but I also keep this journal in hopes that one day if I meet my parents I can show it to them and they will be as proud of me as Elder Hiram. I must go now, the feast is ready and I trained extra hard this morning because the druid Salrum told me that if I was good today through the whole ceremony and feast that afterwards I could play with his Bear friend Charlie. I have been really good all day, and cannot wait. |
