Walking Ghosts
Well holy crap of Aesia! All the old men are coming out of the woodwork. If it wasn't Sir Artemis of the Golden Hand of Aesia. Come all the way to Celembril to search out the "daemons." He had this fantastic adamantine armor on, that was damned near impossible to get underneath. But we kicked butt again. We probably hadn't needed to fight him. He was moving so slow we could have skipped away. But Dolartu hit him with some sort of magic. Then Islan, the moron, walks up to him, sword drawn, and says that he's not gonna to fight him. Big mistake. Artemis brings his greatsword around and breaks the sunsword in half. He could have done nothing better to guarntee a fight. FrostFang tasted a lot of blood. My faithful rapier did herself prowd as well.

After we got him on the ground, I almost killed him right there. FrostFang was urging me on, but I am his master and not so easily swayed. It was Islan's companion that was mangled, not mine. I let Islan decide. Jacques gave Islan an ultimatum and started to walk away, but came back to argue for sparing Artemis. So we tied him up after stripping him. We're going to take him to the elves and let them do with him as they will.

So we travelled on to Mireth? as there may be a chance of finding Islan's family. We stopped at the tiny in to rest. In the Common room I saw him for the first time in forever. Elegone. My former, hmm, mentor. Taught me everything I know. Then dropped me like some sort of garbage. Son of a bitch! What right does he have to come prancing back into my life. I don't think he noticed me when I noticed him, but Dolartu just had to open his fat mouth. He can be sooo annoyingly high-handed sometimes. He comes up and stares rudly at me like I have a second head or something. Then he starts in with the most rediculus story about how I died. No apology for the most viscious verbal flaying of my life. "Blah blah blah. I identified your body. Words words words. We stole you back to bury you." What bull.

I was so angry I was shaking. Altair tried to comfort me, but I have to work out the violent energy first.

If he comes sniffing around me again, I'm not going to be responsible for my actions! I don't know that I'll be able to keep myself in check. He hurt me so bad! I want to just beat him. I want to smash his stupid face! I want to hit him with my fists. Hold him at the point of my swords on his knees. Maybe then I can walk away.
