Uel was the wife of Gallen Verdain and was the last dutchess of Gideon.

Born into a peasant family, Uel was taken in by Gallen after he rescued her from a band of marauders. Years later Uel would return the favor by saving Gallen from a mysterious illness with her knowledge of herbal lore.

Unfortunately, Uel and Gallen met their end in 2983 AA when they were murdered by unknown agents. Their sole surviving heir, Danyelle Meriton Verdain, is wanted by the church in connection with this crime.
