Hequety was once a beautiful goddess, the spirit of the jungles which teemed with life. She was too vain, however, and began to ignore her duties to the jungles, which rotted and became foul. As punishment Khoensekh put a curse on her and changed her into her current shape; a frog headed old hag.
Hequety dwells in the jungle to this day, cursing the names of the good desert gods and lamenting the loss of her beauty. |
