Honor Binds Us
"Above all else, abide by the laws of the spirit. Before one can truly find peace with his world, he must find peace in himself." Togoras, Weapons Master of House Garganth
It is amazing at the wonders mortals can accomplish. The city of El-Alahd is a testiment to that. The sheer size that this wonderous city covers is amazing. Every piece of stone worked with loving care, especially the final homes to thier kings. How i have long to see those places, and i finally was, my thanks to the group of travellers that made it possible. Though the experiences in the El-Alahdian catacombs was a perilous one, my mind still walks down there, admiring the stonework of masons long past.
Speaking of ancient beauty and danger, what of this new experience with the mythical dragons. At first, I must admit my fear at seeing one of the ancient beasts. Our people have many tales of the awesome power of the great wyrms and when i first saw the great blue death, those tales flooded my soul and sapped my desires of battle. But watching the chaos it caused as it fell into the crowd and the bravery of the foreigners, cried out to my pride as a warrior. I tried to help, though I must admit that my heart was not entirly in the fight. They slew the beast. I guess that the legends can be defeated. Now they have decided to travel to the southern lands, though I do not know why. I have decided to go to with them to see these new lands. The man, Jaques, seems a warrior of my own heart and the tools these people use are wonderfully crafted. Maybe, with them, I will become closer to my dream of my finest work.
