The Shadar-Kai were long ago enslaved by the Kaorti, and their whole race was transplanted to Hell from The Plane Of Shadow. They are sometimes trained as Warriors and and are formed into highly prized armies, since they do not suffer from the Kaorti's Material Plane weaknesses.
