The Parting Of A Hero
"Aesia help them survive without me." he muttered to himself as he rode away, headed for Atma to ask the runekeeper to send him home.

He was wrong to have trusted in other people. Perhaps he could complete this quest by himself. Knowing nothing of the road ahead, he gestured rudely behind him, at Dean. When Dean shouted something at him, he just smiled and waved.

Some would say that he was foolish, but he didn’t think so. He was the only one with the logical capacity to complete this journey intelligently.

Hopefully, Jerick wouldn’t come after him. He knew that Jerick was that kind of bastard. He had the tablet, and he didn’t plan on returning it. Let that idiot Dean try to take it. He planned on using it to pay the runekeeper for his services. After that, he would find Elana and liberate her from those brainwashing druids. She could be put to great use against evil, if she could be convinced.

"A curse on all ill-wishers. A curse upon Dean."

Approaching a burnt out shell of a town, he decided to make camp.

He awoke to a soft brushing on the side of his face. A chill ran through his being, and he looked up into the face of horror. "I knew this would happen someday," he gasped
