The Jibblies
Strange people and stranger creatures
Hobbs End is not a long journey from the tavern. I find it interesting that the group did not continue on whole. The goblin and weepy gnome stayed behind. The green one seemed uneasy not at all the cocky know-it-all I met the night before. I did not see the weepy gnome this morning.

We entered Hobbs End this morning found the tavern the new fellows spoke of. The small dwarf and the human decided that they would look around back to find a way in. Goehl, Gim, and I were able to see very plainly that there was a door in the front of the building. The others could not be convinced that this was the best way in so we let them about there business. The streets were empty with the exception of a man in a red cloak that we had past on the way in to town. The reds do not seem to care what goes on around here, I ignored him.

After a few minutes of standing about, I am not one for such things when I am not stalking game, we decided it was best we wait inside. After knocking on the door a slot in the door opened and a human said that his tavern was closed. From listing to the others I knew we could not trust him besides it was already late morning, he should have opened shop by now. He proceeded to threaten me with a wand. This was quite rude. Gim and I decided to break down the door, it was clear that it was poorly made and now an enemy was inside. As we prepared to crush the door and retrieve some refreshing drink, I watched as Gim grew from a gnome into a small bear. I was astounded. Never before have I witnessed this. Only the legends of old spoke of the ones who knew nature so well, they could become it. I knew that he could be trusted, I felt no fear, only honor.

We steadied ourselves and prepared to crush the thin door. I expected little resistance.....I was surprised. The door did not budge, then the ugly little human shot me with his wand. I dodged most of the lightning that crackled at me, but it was enough. I drew my bow and fired through the thin slit. I was rewarded with a solid "thump" and a loud scream. Instead he fired his wand again. Groehl quickly tended my wound and I launched a second arrow, this time there was no scream and no bolt of lightning only the sound of him falling to the ground.

Not long after the door opened and Rorrin let us in.....
