Derrinars Home
Why do we always have to argue
Finally we reached Derrinars home, the dream dwarf village. Its a simple place, on the surface peaceful but we learned that was not the case. After speaking with the elder and with the warrior gaurding the entrance to the village Im positive we have stumbled onto another aberration mess. I thought we had seen the last of those monsters on Baratoria. Guess I was wrong. Now we have two problems, first off we must find this earth touched being and second we now discover there is an aberration threat to the home of one of my companions.

In the morning we set out trying to decide whether to continue on with our quest of to investigate the situation here first. As we were discussing this on the village entrance Tenedos started to act irrationally. Granted ever since reading that tome we found on the pirate island he has had some strange manners but this was more than just a twitch or mumble.

Tenedos kept pointing at the gaurd accusing him of being in league with the aberrations. Groehl and Gim didnt believe insisting the dwarf was good. I relied on my instincts and trusted Tenedos. He was the one to find the hidden entrance to the aberrations lair before and if any of us going to have an insight into the nature of aberrations it will be him.

After some argueing which included Hunter attempting to take the book from Tenedos, he was unsuccessful, and Gim discovering Tenedos had stolen the orb from Groehls pack, we found ourselves at an impass. I felt Tenedos was correct but waited to act. Groehl, Gim, and Hunter didnt believe Tenedos at all and the fact that he had taken the orb didnt help his case. What happened next was a shock.

I dont know why but Gim decided to cast some spell that ended up slamming the gaurd into the cave wall. The dwarf stood and some sort of ooze came from under his helm. He opened his mouth enourmously wide, and I new a fight was on.
