Beneath The Streets Of Citadel - Part Five
Those vile pieces of Skum.
One second I was in the water and then this shimmer washes over me and then we are all back in the boat. If I hadnt met the chronomancer before and been the subject of skips in time before I may have been severely confused. Before those of us who had been through this before could explain, a familiar voice came from the back of the boat. The insane words of a crazy goblin.

Grokbuk sat up in the stern, yelling some gibberish about waking him up. I guess the Chronomancer thought we could use the help of our old, absolutely insane comrade. Once we settled things about how there was some incredibly powerful elven woman who had an annoying habit of pulling people out of time and sticking them in where she felt they would help her save the world, we got back to hunting the aboleth.

I handed out the potion that I had already handed out once before and we dove into the cold dark waters of the lake once more. We all settled to the bottom and moved towards the water inlet. I was in the front and as my foot shifted the murk on the bottom a white object bobbed up in front of me. I reached out to grab it. I was a skull and by the strong brow and jaw I could tell it was dwarven. Gazing around at the bits I could see there were bits of bone jutting up from the murk all about us. That was when they came at us. A swarm of skum attacked us from all sides, darting in at us with their spears. They werent the type of skum we had seen before, these ones had a sort of fish tale instead of legs. All that considered it was rather gratifying wiping out a swarm of the creatures that had taken the life of a companion.

Just as the last skum settled to the bottom we felt a blast of force cut through the water from above. By pure instinct I was able to evade the blast. There was one skum left and this one used magic. Groehl used his divine magic to remove the water from around the creature, it hit the bottom and tried to slither away as we advanced on it. They do not move so well when they cant swim.

Once we closed in on the sneaky bastard we made short work of him. Once we ended the creatures pitiful life we patched up the few scrapes we had continued on. I felt the Aboleth in the direction of the tunnel. Rashaad and I entered first to scout out the tunnel.
