Beneath The Streets Of Citadel - Part Six
The Aboleth At Last.
The tunnel lead deep into mountain rock. Rashaad and I made our way quickly but carefully, aware of the limited time of the potions and my ability. As we followed the tunnel we took a turn upward that ended in the floor of an open room with air in it. Peering over the edge I could see dwarves chained to the wall at the edge of a small pool of water

We headed back and brought everyone else forward. As we entered Groehl once again used his power to force the water down, revealing three surprised skum and a tunnel leading down. We tried to cut the skum of from the tunnel, killing two of them but the third made its escape. I leaped after him Rashaad following me closely. Skum were made for water and I was not. It had a large lead and only increased it. I lost sight of it but followed anyways.

The tunnel lead us to a large open cavern filled with water. There was a surface above so there was air above. As the group caught up we made our way out into the black water.

A shadow came at from straight ahead.

The battle was a little confused after that. The creature that attacked us was some shadow form illusion of the aboleth, and the real one had been hiding above us. Those more inclined to magic managed to reach its hide out while I had to deal with our arcane wielding goblin who suddenly had the inclination to use his powers on me. The aboleth had apparently taken control. While my comrades defeated the aboleth I spent the time wrestling with magical black tentacles. Damned magic wielders.
