Altaire was born in the Elven lands in the year 2612 but has lived in the Human lands for the equivalent of five human generations.
Contrary to Common Elven assessment, Altaire finds Humans to be a noble, if inexperienced race, unfortunate enought to be denied the benefits of wisdom and maturity so unfairly prohibited by mortality.
Altaire has lived amongst the short lived humans in a variety of personas, always disguised as one of their own. Over the generations, she has, sadly, found it necessary to move on frequently, adopting new identities and new visages to prevent becoming suspect to those around her, but more often, in reality, to prevent the despair of experiencing the mortality of those she has learned to care for. |
