Father Punish Me As You See Fit!
...for the first time I have failed you...
Dear Father,

I'm sorry father for I have failed you. Today in the sewers After attaining the location of Murdoc's home, had pressed further into the foul pit looking for "The Balcony". We found it well enough and Garette tossed the tiny peble into The Waste below. Aparently it was met with a warm welcome as the otyughs in the pit began to move and stir we decided to take our leave.

After a large amount of crawling through the tunnels of the sewers we came to a ladder and decided to investigate. Upon reaching the ground we were promptly greeted by a red and black clad man and his pet undead otyugh. As is my custom I charged heedless into battle to destract the foul abomonation as the man was no threat being on the other side of the imediate danger. I closed the distance quickly and steeled myself for the impact. Running now I razed my axe over my head and prepared to strike... and then it came. The fear that suddenly crept into my mind telling me this was a bad idea. We were going to die. We can't beat these two. FLEE! FLEE for your lives. So I turned on my heel letting my blow swing wide and ran as far away as I could. Seeing no other exit I went for the ladder not daring to look back, just knowing that the jaws and tenticals of the foul beast were nipping at my boots.I climbed! I made for the small hatch in the floor of the tunnel above me knowing if I could get there these two can't get me.

And then like a bolt from the sky it hit me. What about my friends? Were they behind me? Was Protoss keeping up. Had Obtenibrous already fallen. Was Cidra cowering and Garrett cornered? And then it happened, I steeled my self again, knowing that I could not look at the horror I was going to join I closed my eyes. One by one I forced my fingers to let go. My friends are in trouble I told them, and sure enough they listened I released the ladder, turned my body and droped to the ground. It hurt, but I'd seen far worse and my friends need me. I told my self to quit quaking and charge and I did.

Before my axe clove into the foul beast's tentical Cidra sent one of her useless beams of blue light at the wall. I Fear she will never make a good mage, to worried about theory to practice her aim. I don't care what you can do in a laboratory, if ya can't hit the enemy you can't hurt em!

It was short work from here out with Protoss and Garrett making quick work of the man and Obtenibrous and I handling the Otyugh. Why was I afraid of this? I've seen far worse. Survived drastically more dire surcemstances. And yet here is where I choose to show my cowards heart. I'm sorry father for the first time I have failed you, punish me as you see fit!

Regretfully Yours,
