War In The Sky
Well, we found Magmar. We journeyed long and far and found him. And he wasn't alone. The show is amazing.

Anyway, Dolartu is suprising me more all the time. He's really been kicking some ass lately. He decided to be the one to stage a diversion to draw away any enemies coming too close, giving us time to escape. But he didn't just draw them away. He slaughtered a frost giant and some winter wolves by himself. Without even a scratch. He's really getting into the dragon thing. Anytime now he's going to run around screaming "Blood! Blood!!" No wait. That's me.

So we finally got to the dragon's cave after taking a more treacherous but faster route than the army we had been tracking. We entered and found piles of treasure and that same pompus old elf Lanathar.

But on to the important stuff. I've got a new man. His name is FrostFang. And he is gorgeous. He's wonderful. Absolutely superb. So well balanced. I just wanted to scream with excitement the first time I wrapped my fingers eagerly around his hilt. And he adores me too. He said I was the best he's ever had. That my skills are finely honded and I could only bring him the greatest, most exquisite pleasure when we were joined. Then Jacques said he was evil and took my sword away. But I'll get him back.

Eventually we got to fight. The remorhaz finally burrowed through the mountain followed by other beasties. Then that wench Freya showed up. We were not too suprised. She wanted to kill Lanathar who wanted to return the favor. Then she goes on about how the elves have been controlling the lives of humans so they can't grow in their own power. They have been deliberatly manipulating people. Now there was the shocker of my life. Peste. "Sure we control the lives of the barbaric humans. Stupid, ungraceful, ungrateful children they are. They should come on bended knee and kiss our feet that we even condescend to acknowledge them, let alone rule them."

Did I know about this? No, but I wasn't too suprised either. Islan sure was though. He was thoroughly enraged. If his lips weren't white from the force of compression, he was shouting at the top of his lungs. The others knew. Hell, Islan's sister is in the organization. He's so bigoted most of the time I'm shocked the whole thing wasn't his idea. I mean, he's really outraged. It's really somewhat suprising. Though he has been getting better lately.

Outside was a truly amazing sight. Magmar was fighting his old nemisis Kalidrax. Except Kalidrax is a ghost. Astounding. I don't think I'll ever see another battle that will equal this sight. I couldn't help it. I was just transfixed. Dolartu was freaking out because Magmar was getting his tail kicked. But how are we supposed to help? This is a dragon matter.
