Also known as the Demon Sun, the Lord of Destruction, the Nemesis Star, and the Dark Sun.
Not possessing any kind of intelligence that would be understandable by mortal standards, Naresh had evolved into a force of pure blind destruction.
Naresh nearly destroyed all life on Geas 3000 years ago, but was ultimately driven from the world by the efforts of Aesia, the elven queen. He was thought driven away forever at the time, though recent events have proven that this is not true.
In the year 2988 an aspect of Naresh returned once again, the dark sun having completed its long journey back to Geas from the depths of the deep outer realms. Several major cities on Geas were destroyed by comets sent by the dark god. Ultimately, though the use of ancient magic and the aid of the rogue human god Aranor, a group of mortals was able to defeat Naresh and spare the world the coming of the age of destruction.
Still, cults of the destroyer are more Common than ever - given the recent display of the destroyers power. The dark god may have been beaten and its power sundered, but still the evil cults of the lord of destruction persist.. and still they weild terrible dark powers. |
